What to expect

A reply from a person, usually within a few days. No auto-responders, no ticket numbers, no “your message is important to us”. If it is urgent because someone is in danger, please do not wait for us: call your local emergency number, and see the Toolkit for crisis lines.

Before you ask

Frequently Panicked Questions

How fast do you reply?

Usually within a few days. One person reads this inbox, and he also has a body to maintain, so allow a little longer around the launch at the end of September.

Can I get a review copy of The Humanual?

Yes. Tell us who you write for or where you review, and which volume (or volumes) you want, and we will send an ebook or arrange a print copy. Everything you need to write about the series without waiting is in the press kit.

I found a mistake in one of the books.

Good. Send it. Every factual claim in The Humanual was checked against primary sources before printing, but the world keeps producing new evidence and we keep producing typos. Corrections go into the next printing and, where it matters, into the Toolkit page straight away.

Do you speak, teach, or run workshops?

Occasionally, and we are open to more. Tell us the audience, the format, and the date, and we will give you an honest answer about fit.

Can I translate, adapt, or excerpt the books?

Ask. Short quotations with attribution are always fine. Translation, audio, and adaptation rights are handled directly by Good Work Press, and we are happy to talk.
